How to Fix Just About Anything: The Dewalt Drill
Bought a new thingy online only to realize when it arrived that it came in a hundred pieces and you have to assemble it? (I’ve never done that…) Or had something in your house break, and think you can probably fix it if you could just get it open?
WHAT DOES IT DO? It screws/unscrews things, and can drill holes into things.
This drill is the answer to all your its-broken-and-I-dont-have-a-man-to-fix-it woes. I like the DeWalt DC730KA because it’s not too big, not to small, but just right to meet all of your fixing needs. I recommend starting with an accessories kit, like the DW2503, because it has enough little pieces (to screw or drill) that one of them is most likely gonna do what you need it to. And if it doesn’t have exactly the right piece, you can always buy just the one attachment you need for the drill.
DO NOT LET THIS TOOL INTIMIDATE YOU. It doesn’t matter what the name of each little piece is. I refer to them all as “thingys”. If I get stuck and can’t figure out how to use it, I just go to Lowe’s or Home Depot, point at the tool I own, tell them what I’m trying to do, and ask them to tell me how to use my thingy to get it done. The guys there always seem to get a kick out of it, and the women that work there are more than happy to help a sister out.
Notes: Keep the second charger plugged into the charger that you’ve plugged in the wall. It so great to have a cordless tool that can fix almost anything, but it is not fun when your battery dies…
Plus, any woman holding a drill looks sexy.
